I'm a dedicated educator with 10 years of experience teaching private and group lessons across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. I'm passionate about passing on the torch of music and helping students develop the skills, confidence, and curiosity to navigate their own musical journey. My teaching combines the discipline and technical foundation of classical guitar training with a personalized approach that allows students to explore the genres and styles that inspire them. I offer private guitar lessons throughout the NYC Metro area, as well as online.

 

At the core of my teaching philosophy is the belief that a classical approach to technique and analysis can benefit every guitarist, regardless of genre. I believe that students learn best when they are both challenged and genuinely engaged by the material they are studying. Lessons are personalized while maintaining a clear structure designed to build strong fundamentals and progressively develop more complex skills. Technique, reading music, theory, ear training, rhythm, interpretation, and repertoire are interconnected parts of the learning process rather than separate subjects. My goal is to help students develop into total musicians who can understand and communicate music—not simply reproduce what is written on the page.
